Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most effective martial arts for real-world self-defense, especially in close-quarters situations. At Wild West Training Center in Carson City, we focus on control, leverage, and situational awareness to help you defend yourself with confidence and purpose.
Adults of all experience levels come to us for structured, hands-on training they can trust when it matters most
At Wild West Training Center in Carson City, most of our adult students started with no experience, or were returning after years away. That’s why we’ve built a structured program that meets you where you are.
You’ll learn core positions, transitions, and submissions in a focused environment, with real coaching and clear expectations. No fluff, no chaos, just steady progress, personal feedback, and the satisfaction that comes from putting in real work
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu challenges your body and mind in ways most workouts don’t. You’ll build functional strength, improve endurance, and develop the kind of confidence that only comes from doing hard things with consistency.
New students start with a free intro class to get a feel for our training environment. From there, you’ll have the option to continue with a 4-week trial. During that time, you’ll attend at least 6 classes, giving you a real opportunity to experience how we train.
After the trial, students who meet the attendance requirement and show consistency are invited to join our full program where structure, accountability, and continued progress are the standard.
